Terminology and Definition Disparages Creating Confusion

    One of the 45 minute topics for our roundtable discussions will take a deep dive into words that have different definitions and meanings ultimately creating confusion that can challenge effective infection prevention.

    An example of this would be the words clean and disinfect. Depending on different areas of expertise these two words have many different meanings.

    The Institute did a deep dive into some of these and will share what we have found.

    What terms have you found that can mean different things. What about non-porous? What about hotel clean? What about porous or non-porous surfaces? Sanitize?
